For returning tasks and non negotiables
Yes, I have a digital planner. I like that it sends me a reminder ten minutes before a meeting is due. I like that I get sheet music and a little tuning fork in the background when I enter ‘Singing lesson’.
But I love my hands on, write down, check tasks off (or crossing or even scratching) real life calendar.
No, not because it’s Harry Potter themed. Or not just because of that.
I love that I can see what needs to be done, that I can add things by hand and that I don’t have to assign a certain time to it. And yes, I know you can do all this with an app on your phone. Maybe I’m just old fashioned. Or a bit nuts. Or both.
But what I didn’t like, was having to write the same thing every day.
Because there are things I do every day. They are my non negotiables, the things I want to do no matter what. Even if I have to do them around midnight, even if I’m feeling sick or if I have a whole day of voice acting or whatever. There are things I want to do every day, like working out and writing. To stay in the flow, to keep momentum, to reach my goals or simply just to…
