7 ways to turn a bad day good
Yesterday I had an off-day. You probably know what I’m talking about — a day when you fly off the handle. You’re ‘failing’ in one or more area’s of your life, doing things that don’t serve you, that you told yourself you wouldn’t do anymore… and there they are. Losing your patience with your kids. Binge eating like you haven’t done for ages. Walking around aimlessly all day, leaving you dead tired but feeling like you haven’t accomplished a thing.
Yep, it happens. Yesterday was such a day for me.
Or at least, that’s how it felt. In fact, it was only an afternoon, and it was only about eating. Everything else was actually quite awesome.
But how do you deal with the part that didn’t feel right? How can you forgive yourself and go on in good spirit? What do you want to focus on (because where your attention goes, grows) so you can move on without guilt, anger and frustration?
